Applications
FOR INDOOR USE – WHERE THEY HIDE:
Bed bugs have many hiding places including; bags & suitcases, bed frames & headboards, box springs, seams & creases of mattresses, baseboards & other furniture cracks and crevices, etc.
BED BUGS: Before treatment, remove all bedding and thoroughly vacuum and air out of mattresses and box springs. Treat mattresses, box springs, bed frames, and headboards, especially tufts, folds and edges of the mattress. Allow treatment to dry before remaking bed with freshly washed bedding. Never spray product directly onto bed sheets.
DO NOT apply as a broadcast application. ONLY perimeter/spot or crack and crevice is permitted. Perimeter/spot application is defined as an application in a wide band or strip around the perimeter of the room or over a small area (<2 ft2/0.2 m2). Crack and crevice applications are defined as an application with the use of a pin stream nozzle, into cracks and crevices in which pests hide or must be limited to tufts and seams or spot treatment.
FLEAS: Spray animal sleeping quarters and floors around area, but not furniture or carpets that people regularly contact. DO NOT SPRAY PETS.
D-Phenothrin is an insecticide belonging to the pyrethroid family. Pyrethroids are the man-made versions of pyrethrins, natural insecticides from chrysanthemum flowers. D-Phenothrin is used in homes, commercial settings, gardens, pet products, and mosquito control programs. D-Phenothrin can kill insects by direct contact or if they eat it. It disrupts their normal nervous system function. It is less toxic to mammals due to their higher body temperature, larger body size, and lower sensitivity to the chemical.
